OUR SOLUTIONS
This is the most basic application also referred to as “Customer’s Liberty”. It gives the customer the opportunity to select electrical items to power at will. The underlying factor for consumer’s consideration is cost.
At A-Plus Power Solution, we design the most practical application for every need this takes into consideration individual customer requirements. Such that whichever choice is made, customers will always get the most value for their money.
In achieving this objective, understanding of consumption economics and consumer needs are brought to bear in our designs, hence we design “systems that work”.
At A-Plus Power Solution, our reputation is built on Quality and Reliability. Our products undergo extensive due diligence before installation.

This is also referred to as ‘Semi-Professional’ application because system designs within this category are on the semi-large scale. Although the applications normally have high power demand, the required power can be easily classified into two main categories namely:
Commercial Primary Load: These represent the set of equipment that will keep the business going. It varies from one business to another.
Case Study 1: A Petrol station in order to function as a viable business would need certain machineries such as fuel pumps, computers, office lights etc to always have a constant supply of electricity. These equipments are known as “Commercial Primary Load”. For a business (for example a petrol station) to run successfully, it is mandatory that all the stated commercial primary load as listed above are working i.e. in constant supply of electricity.
Case Study 2: A business centre on the other hand may comprise of similar load structure but has different types of commercial primary load necessary for the business to be viable. For example, the air-cooling system in the MD’s office will probably fall within this category.
Commercial Secondary Load: These comprises of high energy consuming and less relevant equipment for the most part of the business. Examples are air –conditioners, water pumps and the canopy or security lights (as in case study 1). Most times, these are better fed with a standby generator set or main power supply when available. These however do not necessarily need to be in constant operational mode for a business to be viable
Our design provides a great investment to customers as minimal power is only require to power customer’s specified professional primary loads. Stored power is used to achieve this purpose. The accumulated power comes from period of high power supply. Mainly from the Grid or Generating Set.

Our system is designed to be fully automated, such that all the manual switches for example from a generator to inverter to mains power supply are all eliminated.
As soon as the load demand increases, the system sends an external request to the Gen Set for additional power. This is used to supply the extra load and recharges the system.
For effective operation of the System, 3 major Classifications will be required. At A-Plus Power Solution Ltd, we will work closely with the customer to identify these three major classifications of power demand:
Professional Primary Load: These are the essential loads that must always be powered. They comprise mostly of lightings, Fans, Electronics, Refrigerators and Computers. All these are on the primary circuit.
Professional Secondary Load: These are the next in order of priority. The customer also sets appliances within this category. They generally consist mainly of low powered air-conditioners or the lead air-conditioner in a multiple air -cooling system e.g. one of the air-conditioner in a very large room that faces the area of highest need or traffic.
Professional Tertiary Load: These are high consuming Electrical equipments that are not necessarily designed to be powered by small scale inverter or backup power system. These also comprise of the 3-phase loads and are generally more economical to run by a standby Gen Set or Mains Power supply. Examples of appliances within this category are: Professional Washing Machines, 3-Phase Pumps and Professional steam press.
For good operational efficiency, customers are advised to pre-determine the times of use of these appliances so that most power is supplied at times of highest power demand.
With this usage pattern, the Back-up System can conveniently address “Quiet Times” – periods when power or electricity may not be mandatorily needed and “Semi-Quiet times”. For times of high power Demands, there will be fall back on the Gen Set.
It is conservatively expected that with this pattern of power consumption, the customer will be able to achieve at least, a minimum of 50% saving in Diesel Consumption/Electrical Bill.
In addition to the Installation of the Backup/Solar system, the package also includes the following:
- Electrical MOT: This tests the circuit for compliance with local regulations and includes Earth Leakage tests.
- Recommendation/Supply of replacement lamps to the Energy saving variants
- Load shedding as appropriate to avoid accidental overload
- Temperature control in the Installation area in order to prevent overheating
- Provision of indoor Energy Monitoring Device
- Complimentary Ambient Recirculation fan
- Complimentary 1st year system maintenance
